Your next role 

As Head of Food & Beverage, you will have the opportunity to shape not only the future of these venues, but the reputation of Hobart's premium waterfront dining and hospitality experience.  

Reporting to the Precinct General Manager, you will lead the strategic direction, commercial performance and guest experience across the entire food and beverage portfolio. 

This role is suited to a seasoned hospitality executive who understands how to balance creativity with commercial performance, inspire exceptional teams and deliver luxury guest experiences that stand well apart in a competitive market. 

Leading culinary, operational and executive leaders, you will build a clear vision for the precinct and translate that vision into measurable business outcomes. For an accomplished hospitality leader, this represents the rare opportunity to leave a meaningful legacy within an established luxury portfolio while shaping what comes next. 

Key responsibilities 

• Establish and lead the food, beverage and culinary vision across Hobart's premier waterfront hospitality precinct. 

• Drive the strategic evolution of restaurant, bar, café and events experiences, ensuring a distinctive and commercially successful luxury offering. 

• Partner closely with senior culinary and operational leaders to build alignment, accountability and high-performance culture. 

• Champion Tasmania's producers, distillers, winemakers and artisans through innovative guest experiences and meaningful partnerships. 

• Deliver sustained growth in revenue, profitability and guest satisfaction across a complex multi-venue portfolio. 

• Identify emerging trends and opportunities in luxury hospitality, dining and beverage experiences to continually elevate the precinct's market position. 

About you 

You are an experienced senior hospitality leader with a strong track record in complex, premium or luxury environments. 

You've already built an impressive career. Now you're looking for an opportunity with greater influence, greater creativity and the ability to shape an entire destination. 

You will bring: 

• Significant senior leadership experience within luxury hotels, resorts, premium restaurants or experiential hospitality environments. 

• Experience developing and executing food and beverage strategies across complex hospitality portfolios including restaurants, bars, events, conferencing and culinary operations. 

• Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting and profitability management. 

• An authentic leadership style that inspires, develops and empowers high-performing teams.
