What you can expect in a day in this role:

As a casual Commis Chef, you will prepare a range of dishes using Tasmania's finest produce and freshest local ingredients while working alongside our diverse and skilled culinary team. You'll have the opportunity to develop your skills across a variety of dining outlets, from our upmarket bistro through to the iconic Point Revolving Restaurant, gaining exposure to different cuisines, techniques and service styles while building your career with one of Tasmania's leading hospitality groups.

What you will bring to the role:

• Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced commercial kitchen, ideally within a hotel, restaurant or large hospitality venue
• Strong understanding of quality produce, food preparation techniques and kitchen operations
• Passion for creating memorable dining experiences for guests
• Ability to work independently when required while contributing positively to a high-performing team
• Commercial Cookery Certificate III or higher
• Full Australian working rights with availability to work across a rotating roster, including weekends, evenings and public holidays 

An appointee to this role may be subject to pre-employment and ongoing screening checks.
