About Jam Packed

Set within the historic walls of The Henry Jones Art Hotel and the IXL Jam Factory, Jam Packed is a welcoming spot to relax, enjoy a great coffee and take in Hobart’s waterfront atmosphere. Art is an important part of The Henry Jones experience, with more than 400 artworks displayed throughout the hotel, creating a unique environment for both guests and our team. With an all-day menu featuring barista-made coffee, light meals and sweet treats, Jam Packed is a favourite for locals, hotel guests and visitors exploring Hobart.

About the role

As a casual Barista, you’ll play an important role in creating a warm and memorable experience for every customer who walks through our doors. You’ll take pride in preparing quality coffee, keeping service running smoothly and building genuine connections with our regulars, hotel guests and visitors from interstate and overseas. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves coffee, enjoys being part of a close-knit team and wants to bring energy and care to every shift.

About you

• Experience making coffee in a busy, customer-focused environment
• Strong knowledge of coffee preparation, quality standards and machine maintenance
• A friendly, confident approach and genuine care for great customer service
• The ability to stay calm, organised and positive during busy service periods
• Availability to work across a 7-day roster between 7:00am and 3:00pm
