What can you expect from a day as a Solutions Architect? 

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Solutions Architect to design and implement comprehensive, scalable, and sustainable technology solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of both business and technical needs, allowing them to bridge the gap between client requirements and solution architectures. You will work closely with internal teams to create innovative solutions that deliver measurable value.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identifying system business requirements through stakeholder engagement and collaboration.
• Analysis of current state and desired state with applicable stakeholders across concurrent initiatives and projects.
• Provision of sound advice to technical and business stakeholders regarding solution design, system development and integration recommendation approaches and trade-offs.
• Document implementable design solutions that satisfy business requirements and adhere to technology and business specific standards and practices.
• Maintain solution artifacts in appropriate architecture repositories for preservation and reference.
• Manage and improve the practice of solution architecture within the technology engineering management process framework.

What will you bring to the role?

• Demonstratable experience as a Solutions Architect or in a similar role.
• Proven ability to engage stakeholders to identify business and technology requirements for solution development.
• Demonstratable experience in the ICT industry with on-premise, cloud and hybrid topologies supporting network and security solutions (Azure preferred).
• High level of technical knowledge in one or more engineering disciplines (e.g. Infrastructure, Networking, Software Engineering, Cloud, Cyber Security). Strong knowledge of systems architecture, enterprise integration, security, and design patterns.
• Experience and high-level understanding of traditional and contemporary project and solution development / delivery frameworks including waterfall, lean and agile approaches.
• Demonstratable analytical and problem-solving skills with a collaborative mindset, established from ICT solution experience. 
• Exhibit a strong customer service orientation through past experiences, and able to maintain and improve professional relationships.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
