About MACq 01 and The Henry Jones Art Hotel 

Nestled in the heart of the historic Hobart waterfront, you will find MACq 01 Hotel and The Henry Jones Art Hotel; a Federal Hospitality luxury collection that combines premium accommodation with immersive, unforgettable experiences. Throughout the halls and across the walls of both hotels, you'll find engaging pieces of history, art and stories that connect our guests to the beautiful state of Tasmania. 

What you can expect in a day in this role:  

We're looking for multiple Room Attendants and Night Attendants to join our Housekeeping team on a casual basis across MACq 01 Hotel and The Henry Jones Art Hotel. Our main goal is always to make sure guests have a great time at our properties, and one large part of that experience is keeping their rooms clean, hygienic and comfortable. You work well in an environment that is physically demanding and excel working both individually and as part of a team. Together with your excellent time management skills and exceptional attention to detail, we are excited to hear from you.  

During each shift, you’ll be responsible for: 

• Servicing rooms and cleaning accommodation areas 

• Ensuring linen and general room supplies are available for guests 

• Maintaining the highest level of hygiene standards, safe work practices and chemical handling 

• Working to tight timeframes between guest check out and check in 

What you will bring to the role:  

• Flexible availability to work a 7-day roster, including weekends and public holidays, and willing to take on last-minute shifts  

• Our Room Attendant team have varied shift start times from 8am to 9.30am through until 2-2.30pm each day, so being available across these times is required 

• A strong passion for providing exceptional behind-the-scenes guest service with a keen eye for detail 

• Positive, professional attitude with the ability to meet tight deadlines
