What you can expect in a day in this role: 

We’re looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Cook to join our team at Wrest Point. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys preparing simple, tasty meals in a fast-paced environment, no formal qualifications or commercial cookery training required. 

You’ll be responsible for preparing and serving meals for our team members, ensuring quality, consistency, and a friendly experience during their break times. 

What you can expect in a day in this role: 

• Assisting with preparing and cooking a variety of meals and sandwiches  

• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and service areas 

• Assisting with stock rotation and basic food prep 

• Providing friendly service to internal team members 

• Working independently and as part of a small team 

What you will bring to the role: 

• Experience in a kitchen or food preparation environment (preferred but not essential) 

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn 

• Ability to work efficiently and follow food safety procedures 

• Flexibility to work across various shifts including weekends and public holidays
