About MACq01 and The Henry Jones Art Hotel  

Nestled in the heart of the historic Hobart waterfront, you will find MACq01 Hotel and The Henry Jones Art Hotel; a Federal Hospitality luxury collection that combines premium accommodation with immersive, unforgettable experiences.  

We are preparing for the upcoming busy season as the cruise ships begin to dock, the sun starts to shine and tourists flock to beautiful Hobart we need passionate staff to provide meaningful experiences across our guests stay. What you can expect in a day in this role:   

Working across our bars and restaurants, or conference and events at MACq01 or The Henry Jones Art Hotel, you’ll be experienced in providing bar service or table restaurant service with a passion to delight our guests. These premium venues include: 

• Landscape Restaurant & Grill 

• Jam Packed  

• IXL Long Bar 

• Old Wharf Restaurant 

• Evolve Spirits Bar 

• The Story Bar 

As a Food & Beverage Attendant, you’ll play a key role in delivering a memorable all-round guest experience. From serving meals and drinks to assisting with guest enquiries, you’ll bring passion, attention to detail, and a guest-first attitude to every shift.  Whether guests are enjoying a meal, relaxing with a drink, or engaging in our hotel facilities, you’ll be working as part of a passionate team you’ll be comfortable to take on whichever tasks require your attention to ensure the best guest service experience possible.  

What you will bring to the role:   

We are searching for new team member who can bring passion for guest service each shift, this will ideally come from previous experience in a similar role in a premium venue. You’ll also bring:  

• A genuine passion for the food and beverage industry in Tasmania, working with the highest quality ingredients and service levels,  

• A flexible and reliable approach to your working roster across a 7 day a week and late into the night rotation,  

• The ability to work with others and build positive working relationships,  

• Hold a valid Tasmanian Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate .
