About Country Club

Country Club Tasmania sits amongst beautiful parkland and remains Launceston’s leading destination for accommodation, dining, and entertainment. With five restaurants, four bars, 88 hotel rooms, 16 suites, 78 villa units, extensive conference and event spaces, casino gaming, and the exciting launch of our brand new golfing entertainment precinct, The Range, there’s‑ always something happening.

What can you expect in a day in this role:

As part of our cleaning team, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our guests. We’re looking for someone with a great attitude and the ability to work independently. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Cleaning and sanitising public areas
• Maintaining restrooms, ensuring they are stocked and spotless
• Removing trash throughout the property
• Surface cleaning and floor care
• Cleaning within our gaming and casino floor
• Maintaining high standards of health and safety
• Interacting with guests in a positive and friendly manner
• Additional Utility cleaning duties when required (carpet cleaning, upholstery, pressure cleaning and minor repairs)

What you will bring to the role:

As a cleaner, you will have strong communication skills and the flexibility to work a 7-day rotating roster.  You will also demonstrate:

• Excellent attention to detail and Strong time management skills
• An enthusiastic and motivated approach to work
• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• The ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work at heights
• Previous cleaning experience (desirable but not essential)
• Availability to work a variety of shifts, from early mornings (5:00 am) to late evenings/overnight, across all seven days of the week
• Willingness to assist in other areas, such as laundry or seamstress work, would be advantageous
