What you can expect in a day in this role:  

Reporting to our Maintenance Supervisor, the ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently as well as part of a team, and a keen eye for detail.  

 The successful candidate will:  

• Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on facilities and equipment 

• Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with equipment and systems  

• Assist the team with essential business checks  

• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work via our Property Management System  

• Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with relevant regulations and standards  

• Perform some routine lawn and garden maintenance

You’ll be a proactive and self-motivated individual who thrives in a busy environment. Keeping our hotels running smoothly is vital to our guests' experience, and work to keep everything looking sharp and running like clockwork.  

Our ideal candidate will have: 

• Ability to read and interpret manuals, diagrams and blueprints 

• Strong knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to maintenance tasks 

• Demonstrated ability to work within a diverse and fast-paced role, often prioritising multiple tasks effectively,  

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work 

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays as needed.
