What you can expect in a day in this role:

This role will support varied aspects of Front Office operations. In this role you will be responsible for assisting the Front Office team in providing all guest services, such as: guest check in / check out; making and amending reservations; booking and confirming internal and external tours; updating guest profiles; assisting with luggage and valet parking.

This role will also have responsibility to step into a Duty Manager position as required.

What you will bring to the role: 

• Two years minimum experience in the Hotel industry within Front Office/Reservations (ideally as a Guest Service Agent)
• Experience acting as a Duty Manager is highly desirable
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills
• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure with a positive demeanour
• A current full manual drivers licence
• A valid Tasmanian Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
• A flexible approach to working hours over a 7-day roster including weekends, public holidays and evening shifts
• Experience with hotel reservations software RMS or similar
