About the Hotel Federal:

Featuring a gaming lounge with 30 state-of-the-art gaming machines, local entertainment, and a burger bar, it truly stands out as a premier destination for locals, tourists, and passersby.

What you can expect in a day in this role:

In this role, you will be responsible for attending to enquiries from our gaming patrons, preparing food and beverages, and providing exceptional customer service.

Some of your day-to-day duties will include:

• Manage and maintain gaming operations and functions
• Assist patrons with food and beverage orders and general queries
• Oversee and operate TAB services
• Maintain cleanliness and uphold hygiene standards across all areas
• Support food and beverage service in the Bistro and Burger Bar
• Respond to general enquiries and handle customer complaints professionally

What you will bring to the role:

Along with excellent customer service and the ability to take initiative, you will have:

• Demonstrated cash handling proficiency
• Knowledge of all gaming machine regulations, compliance, operations, and procedures
• An understanding of food & beverage products and services
• A professional & mature “can-do” attitude with the ability to work autonomously
• Current Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (RSA) and Responsible Service of Gaming Certificate (RSG), or the ability to obtain these certificates
• Ability to work a variety of night and weekend shifts, which may include public holidays.

A successful candidate in this role may be subject to pre-employment and ongoing screening checks.
