We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Cleaning & Laundry Supervisor to lead our team and help maintain the high presentation standards Country Club Tasmania is known for.

What can you expect in a day in this role: 
We are looking for our next leaders in our cleaning and laundry team.  Reporting to the Cleaning Manager you will lead by example and help organise the daily tasks, you will also:

• Coordinate daily cleaning and laundry operations, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
• Lead and support the cleaning and laundry team to deliver exceptional presentation standards across the property.
• Oversee the laundering, pressing, repair and distribution of uniforms, linen and other property items.
• Monitor stock levels of cleaning and laundry supplies, placing orders and maintaining inventory as required.
• Train, coach and support team members, while promoting a positive and productive team environment.
• Assist with rostering, labour management and reporting while ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety standards.
• Roll up your sleeves and assist with cleaning and laundry duties when required, leading by example every step of the way.
  
  

What you will bring to the role:  
Along with previous experience in a cleaning, housekeeping, laundry or property services environment, you'll bring:

• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing demands.
• A keen eye for detail to maintain high presentation and cleanliness standards.
• Sound problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions confidently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and customer-focused approach.
• Confidence using computer systems for reporting, rostering or administrative tasks.
• A hands-on attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to support the team wherever needed.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing operational requirements and business needs.
