About MACq01 and The Henry Jones Art Hotel  

Nestled in the heart of the historic Hobart waterfront, you will find MACq01 Hotel and The Henry Jones Art Hotel; a Federal Hospitality luxury collection that combines premium accommodation with immersive, unforgettable experiences. Throughout the halls and across the walls of both hotels, you'll find engaging pieces of history, art and stories that connect our guests to the beautiful state of Tasmania.  

What you can expect in a day in this role:   

As a Food & Beverage Attendant, you’ll work across our bars, restaurants, or conference and event spaces at MACq 01 or The Henry Jones. You’ll bring confidence in either bar service or table service and a genuine passion for creating exceptional guest experiences. 
Your day will involve: 

• Serving food and beverages with attention to detail 

• Assisting guests with enquiries 

• Supporting smooth operations across your section 

• Working collaboratively with a passionate, high performing team performing team 

Whether guests are dining, enjoying a drink, or exploring our spaces, you’ll be ready to step in wherever needed to ensure every interaction is memorable. 

What you will bring to the role:   

We’re looking for team members who deliver great service every shift. Ideally, you’ll have experience in a similar role within a premium venue, along with: 

• A genuine passion for Tasmania’s food and beverage scene 

• Strong teamwork and communication skills 

• A reliable, flexible approach to a rotating roster (7day operation, including late finishes) 

• A valid Tasmanian Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
