What can you expect in a day in this role:

As part of our cleaning team, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our guests. We’re looking for someone with a great attitude and the ability to work independently. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Cleaning and sanitising public areas
  • Maintaining restrooms, ensuring they are stocked and spotless
  • Removing trash throughout the property
  • Surface cleaning and floor care
  • Cleaning within our gaming and casino floor
  • Maintaining high standards of health and safety
  • Interacting with guests in a positive and friendly manner

What you will bring to the role:

As a cleaner, you will have strong communication skills and the flexibility to work a rostered schedule. You will also demonstrate:

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong time management skills
  • An enthusiastic and motivated approach to work
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • The ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work at heights
  • Excellent customer service skills and experience interacting with a diverse range of people
  • Previous cleaning experience (desirable but not essential)
  • Alignment with our Country Club Tasmania values
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, from early mornings (5:00 am) to late evenings/overnight, across all seven days of the week
  • Willingness to assist in other areas, such as laundry or other back-of-house duties
