Inspired by the “low and slow” traditions of Southern American BBQ, our menu brings together bold flavours, locally sourced produce and generous, share-style dining in a relaxed waterfront setting. 

A rare opportunity has become available to join us to lead the team as Longhorn's Restaurant Manager! 

What you can expect in a day in this role:     

Our Restaurant Manager role is perfect for someone who thrives in a high-energy environment, enjoys being at the heart of service, and knows how to bring a team together to create something special, night after night., valuing the harmonious relationship between front and back of house. 

 Your key responsibilities will be to:   

• Keep daily operations running smoothly, even when the heat is on 

• Work side-by-side with the Head Chef to keep front and back of house in sync 

• Lead, coach and inspire a passionate team 

• Create memorable guest experiences and confidently handle feedback 

• Manage rosters, labour costs and productivity 

• Drive performance, sales and profitability 

• Ensure compliance across food safety, WHS and licensing 

• Partner with senior leaders to continuously improve the business 

 What you’ll bring    

We’re looking for someone who knows their way around a busy venue and brings both confidence and care to how they lead. If you confidently can bring the following, we would welcome your application: 

• Experience as a Restaurant Manager or senior leader in a fast-paced venue 

• Strong leadership skills and a genuine passion for developing people 

• Great communication and problem-solving abilities 

• A solid understanding of hospitality operations, costs and KPIs 

• The ability to stay calm, focused and positive under pressure 

• Flexible availability across nights, weekends and public holidays 

• A real passion for food, service and creating memorable experiences
