What you can expect in a day in this role:

As the first point of contact for our valued guests, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service through our reservations team. Your day will include, but not be limited to:

  • Assisting guests with enquiries via phone and email, providing accurate destination information and tailored advice.
  • Promoting Country Club Tasmania’s products and services to enhance the guest experience.
  • Managing bookings and processing reservations efficiently using our booking system.
  • Identifying sales opportunities and upselling where appropriate to maximise guest satisfaction.
  • Monitoring booking requests and proactively anticipating guest needs for current and future stays.

 

What You Will Bring to the Role

Along with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a small team, we are looking for someone who has:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Previous sales experience, ideally within the hospitality sector (preferred but not essential).
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service and responding to requests with ease.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Confidence in handling guest concerns and sound judgment in escalating issues when necessary.

An appointee to this role may be subject to pre-employment and ongoing screening checks.
