What you can expect in a day in this role:  

The Porter plays an important role in creating a memorable first and last impression for our guests. As a key member of the Front Office team, you will deliver exceptional service and warm hospitality while assisting guests throughout their stay. Your responsibilities will include:

• Welcoming and greeting guests on arrival and departure
• Assisting guests with luggage and personal belongings
• Escorting guests to their rooms and providing information about hotel facilities
• Delivering guest requests, amenities and other items throughout the property
• Conducting airport transfers and other guest transportation services
• Supporting the Front Office team with guest enquiries and requests
• Maintaining a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times

What you’ll bring to the role:  

• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• A friendly, approachable and professional manner
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and a willingness to assist wherever needed
• A current full unrestricted driver's licence
• A Public Passenger Vehicle (PPV) Licence, or the ability to obtain one at commencing employment
• A safe and responsible driving record
• The ability to perform manual handling tasks, including lifting and transporting luggage
