About MACq 01 

Nestled in the heart of the historic Hobart waterfront, MACq 01 Hotel is a Federal Hospitality luxury property that blends premium accommodation with immersive, unforgettable experiences. Our halls are alive with stories, art, and history that connect guests to the spirit of Tasmania. 

What you can expect in a day in this role:

In this role, you’ll play a key part in creating a warm, inviting, and welcoming atmosphere for every guest. You’ll support the Front Office team with a strong focus on enhancing the guest experience, proactively identifying opportunities to deliver service that consistently exceeds expectations. As part of this role, you’ll also:  

• Handle luggage and storage for guests 

• Valet parking of guest cars  

• Facilitate transport services at guest request 

• Run general errands for guests and to support hotel operations 

• Provide current information about in-house facilities, local events and attractions  

What you will bring to the role: 

• Experience in a similar role at a premium property (desirable) 

• Current full manual Driver’s License is essential  

• Tasmanian recognised Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) 

• Strong time management, organisation, and planning skills with excellent attention to detail 

• Exceptional verbal and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders 

• Flexibility to work a 7-day roster, including weekends, public holidays, and evenings
