What does the role involve? 

The Housekeeping Manager’s role is to contribute to the success of Wrest Point by leading the Housekeeping department, including Dry Cleaning, Laundry, Mini Bar and Uniform Room operations. Providing a smooth, timely and efficient service and excellence in rooms presentation whilst ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, employee engagement and achievement of higher productivity in line with Wrest Point’s strategic goals.  This can include, but not limited to:

• Supervising daily operations, plan and assign work and assist with performance and development goals for employees   
• Assist with the onboarding and training of new housekeeping team members   
• Ensure the appropriate tools and equipment are supplied to carry out duties  
• Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments   
• Complete quality inspections alongside the Housekeeping Supervisors and team.

What will you bring to the team? 

• Strong experience as a Housekeeping Leader from a high-volume fast paced hospitality environment
• Positive, professional attitude with the ability to lead a team to meet tight deadlines
• Confidence to provide input into and oversee the day-to-day execution of the department's operational plan.   
• Proven excellence and consistency in providing positive guest experience whilst managing guest interaction with the utmost professionalism and confidentiality.
• Promote and implement performance development for the team through; performance feedback, coaching, mentoring and management of underperformance and employee engagement initiatives to ensure a high performing team culture.
