About Federal Hospitality 

Working in one of Tasmania’s most stunning locations, on the waterfront just outside the Hobart CBD at Wrest Point, you will join our motivated and experienced team as a Head of Sales.

What can you expect from a day in this role?   

This newly created role works closely with Revenue Management, Marketing and Operations to ensure sales activity is aligned to commercial priorities, market demand, booking pathways, customer expectations and operational capacity. While the Head of Sales is accountable for sales strategy, market engagement, account growth and sales team performance, broader integration across Sales, Central Reservations and Revenue Management is led through the immediate manager role. 

What will you bring to the team?    

Skills & Experience: 

• Significant senior sales leadership experience in hospitality, tourism, events, accommodation, luxury travel, leisure, corporate or related customer-facing commercial environments. 

• Demonstrated experience leading specialist sales teams across multiple customer segments, channels or product lines. 

• Strong understanding of accommodation, conference and events, corporate sales, travel trade, group business and premium experience sales. 

Qualifications: 

• Tertiary qualifications in Business, Sales, Marketing, Tourism, Hospitality, Events or a related discipline are desirable. 

• Equivalent senior industry experience may be considered in place of formal qualifications.
