What you can expect in a day in this role: 

In this casual role, no two days will be the same. Working across both Reception and Porter duties, you’ll be one of the first friendly faces our guests meet and help create a welcoming experience from arrival through to departure. 

You’ll greet and check guests in and out, assist with enquiries and reservations, help guests with their luggage and belongings, escort guests to their rooms, provide information about the hotel and deliver guest requests throughout the property. 

What you will bring to the role: 

• Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills 

• A friendly and welcoming approach to customer service 

• Previous experience in a front office, hotel or customer service role is preferred 

• Experience with hotel reservations software RMS is preferred but not essential 

• Ability to multitask and work well in a busy environment 

• A willingness to work across both Reception and Porter duties 

• A flexible approach to working hours over a 7-day roster, including weekends, public holidays and evening shifts 

• An unrestricted drivers licence, this can be manual or automatic  

An appointee to this role may be subject to pre-employment and ongoing screening checks.
