About TASkeno

TASkeno is part of Federal Group and has been supporting gaming venues across Tasmania for decades. Operating a statewide Keno network, TASkeno works closely with hotels, clubs and casinos to deliver reliable gaming services, exceptional customer support and a seamless venue experience.

We are currently seeking a Help Desk Operator to join our Operations Centre team based in Sandy Bay.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone from a hospitality, gaming, wagering, casino, helpdesk or customer service background who enjoys a role with variety, problem solving and the chance to continually develop new skills.

What can you expect from a day in this role?

At the heart of TASkeno operations, you'll support venues, monitor systems and resolve issues to deliver a seamless customer and venue experience.

You'll monitor games and systems, assist venue staff, process ticket corrections, troubleshoot equipment, complete compliance reporting and support wider projects, working with key stakeholders to keep the network running smoothly.

What will you bring to the role?

You'll be a customer-focused professional who enjoys helping others, takes pride in delivering exceptional service and has a keen eye for detail.

To be successful, you'll bring:

• Experience in hospitality, gaming, wagering, casino, customer service, helpdesk or call centre environments
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• High attention to detail and the ability to work within a regulated environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and confidence learning new systems
• The ability to manage competing priorities and remain calm under pressure
• A flexible and adaptable approach to work
• Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week on a rotating roster, with shifts spanning 8:00 am to 2:00 am Sunday to Thursday and 8:00 am to 4:00 am Friday and Saturday, including some 10-hour shifts, and rosters provided two weeks in advance.
