What you can expect in a day in this role:

As a permanent part-time Demi Chef, you’ll have the opportunity to create a variety of dishes using Tasmania’s finest produce and freshest local ingredients, working alongside our talented and diverse team of chefs. Your primary focus will be working in our conference and events space and you’ll also have the opportunity to broaden your skills by working in our à la carte restaurants.

What you will bring to the role:

• Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a similar role or environment
• A solid understanding of food safety practices
• Genuine passion for working with high-quality Tasmanian produce
• Strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences
• Motivated, collaborative team player with a positive and proactive attitude
• Flexibility to work across a seven-day roster, including weekends and public holidays

An appointee to this role may be subject to pre-employment and ongoing screening checks.
