What you can expect in a day in this role:

In this role, you will be responsible for attending to inquiries from our gaming patrons, preparing and dispensing beverages, and providing exceptional customer service.

Some of your day-to-day duties will include:

  • Managing and maintaining gaming functions and operations
  • Managing TAB functions
  • Day-to-day operations of gaming rooms
  • Assisting patrons with both food and beverage orders, inquiries and complaints
  • Uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards

 

What you will bring to the role:

Along with excellent customer service and the ability to take initiative, you will have:

  • Demonstrated cash handling proficiency
  • Knowledge of all gaming machine regulations, compliance, operations, and procedures
  • An understanding of food & beverage products and services
  • A professional & mature “can do” attitude with the ability to work autonomously
  • Current Tasmanian Responsible Service of Gaming Certificate (RSG) and Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (RSA)
  • Keno Writer & Gaming Machine Attendant or Senior Keno Writer and Gaming Machine Supervisor Certificates and TAB would be advantageous

Please note: Success in this role requires flexibility to work a range of evening and weekend shifts. Availability on public holidays may also be required.

A successful candidate in this role may be subject to pre-employment and ongoing screening checks.
